My first introduction to clay was over 30 years ago in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since then, my life has taken a very circuitous route to Maine where my husband John, daughters Sara and Claire and I have settled. I returned to college to finish a degree in ceramic art and in 1994 created Mud Lark Studio. When the girls were young, I taught after school clay classes and balanced my studio work with family life. I feel extremely fortunate to now have the opportunity to spend time doing what I really love to do – play in the mud!
